Partnering with leaders at all levels—and the organizations, institutions, and systems they shape—to turn potential into power has long been at the heart of my work. For over two decades, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, teams, organizations, and governments from all over the globe on strategy, operations, leadership development, racial equity, power, and advocacy. Currently, I’m the CEO of Health Leads, a U.S.–based NGO that partners with communities, health systems, and public health to address systemic causes of inequity and disease. My formal education includes a B.A. from Smith College, an M.A. from Georgetown University, and a Community Health Worker Certification from City College San Francisco. I live in Oakland, CA with my two kids, two rescue huskies, and partner.
Part portfolio, part reflection — a bit of what I write, co-create, and care about. I post more frequently on LinkedIn—the best place to find my latest writing and reflections.

I was born and raised in New York City, spent my summers in rural Texas, and now live in Oakland, California. Over the past two decades, I’ve had the privilege of visiting communities and meeting people across the United States and abroad—one of the best parts of my work. When not working, I can be found exploring the Bay Area and beyond with my family and friends (the photo is in Santa Barbara), swimming, biking, running, baking, or eating yummy local food.

I am slowly making my way through my MPH, and now also through the stack of young adult book recommendations from my kids—the latest is Scythe (excellent).

My kids’ curiosity. My dogs' calm presence. The people I get to work with and learn from. The resilience of the elders in my life. The love of my family—given and chosen. And the reminder that there’s always more to learn and unlearn. (Pictured: our rescue husky, Tema.)

My primary focus is my role at Health Leads where much of my work centers on leadership, strategy, and systems change. Occasionally, I collaborate with organizations on strategy, facilitation, and leadership development projects that align with my work and values. If I’m unable to take something on directly, I’m happy to recommend trusted colleagues and collaborators.
I join panels, speaking engagements and conversations that challenge how we approach leadership and change—focusing on strategy, collaboration, and equity as tools for building stronger, more sustainable systems. You can get in touch here.
